The Prophet Nuh (Noah) and his People's Story: The Surah describes how, for decades, Prophet Nuh preached monotheism to his people, warning them of the repercussions of unbelief. Despite his efforts, only a few people believed in him, and as a punishment, a tremendous flood was sent to annihilate the unbelievers.

The Legend of Prophet Hud and the 'Ad: Prophet Hud was dispatched to the 'Ad people, who were known for their power and arrogance. Despite his warnings, the 'Ad people ignored his message and were eventually annihilated by a strong wind.

The Prophet Salih and the Thamud's Story: Prophet Salih was dispatched to the Thamud people, who specialized in rock cutting. He forbade them from worshiping idols and commanded them to worship only Allah. They, however, disregarded his word and were punished by a devastating earthquake.
