The seventh chapter of the Quran, Surah Al-A'raf, contains 206 verses. It gets its name from the mention of "Al-A'raf" in verse 46, which alludes to a barrier or partition that separates the residents of Paradise from the residents of Hell.

The Prophet Adam (Adam) and Iblis (Satan) Story: Surah Al-A'raf describes Adam and his wife Hawwa (Eve's) creation, their residence in Paradise, Satan's seduction, and their subsequent banishment from Paradise after eating from the forbidden tree.
The Prophet Nuh (Noah) and his People's Story: The Surah describes how, for decades, Prophet Nuh preached monotheism to his people, warning them of the repercussions of unbelief. Despite his efforts, only a few people believed in him, and as a punishment, a tremendous flood was sent to annihilate the unbelievers.
The Legend of Prophet Hud and the 'Ad: Prophet Hud was dispatched to the 'Ad people, who were known for their power and arrogance. Despite his warnings, the 'Ad people ignored his message and were eventually annihilated by a strong wind.
The Prophet Salih and the Thamud's Story: Prophet Salih was dispatched to the Thamud people, who specialized in rock cutting. He forbade them from worshiping idols and commanded them to worship only Allah. They, however, disregarded his word and were punished by a devastating earthquake.
The Prophet Musa (Moses) and Pharaoh's Story: The encounter between Prophet Musa and Egypt's Pharaoh is mentioned in Surah Al-A'raf. It describes Musa's marvels, such as the staff changing into a snake and the sea separating, as well as Pharaoh and his people's stubbornness and incredulity.
The Madyan and Prophet Shu'aib's Story: Prophet Shu'aib was sent to the people of Madyan, who were engaged in deception and deceit. He exhorted them to worship Allah and to be just in their transactions. They, however, disregarded his message and were subsequently decimated by a devastating earthquake.
