সূরা আল গাশিয়াহ - মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ

Surah Al-Ghashiyah is the Quran's 88th chapter (surah). Its name, "Al-Ghashiyah," means "The Overwhelming" or "The Enveloper" in English. This surah contains 26 verses.
Surah Al-Ghashiyah begins with a description of the events and circumstances that will take place on the Day of Judgment. It depicts the overpowering aspect of that Day, in which individuals are divided into two groups: those who receive their record of deeds in their right hands (the righteous) and those who receive it in their left hands (the wicked).
